As we work frequently as part of a virtual team and have less face-to-face contact, it becomes increasingly important to ensure we stay connected to colleagues in new ways. We have a range of small initiatives that focus on celebrating employee achievements, sharing skills and providing tools to support a good work life balance.
Moments that matter
Alongside our wider reward programmes, we have looked at how we can make little moments matter. The result is a range of smaller initiatives, including employee appreciation cards sent out on a Friday and a day dedicated to showing kindness to colleagues which helps keep us connected as people.
Your time to share
This is almost a ‘mini-mentor programme’. It consists of colleagues offering up their time to share their skills and experience. The sessions are interactive and can be on any topic you think might be of benefit to your colleagues – such as project management, time management or setting objectives.
We offer the Headspace app to employees, and pay for the full version so that everyone can get the most benefit from the app. This allows you to listen to a wide range of podcasts to support your mental health and wellbeing
