Chief Executive Officer
Titus Wouda Kuipers
Titus has responsibility for operations across Fontem Ventures. He previously worked as Operations Director at Fontem Ventures’ parent company, Imperial Brands, and has over 25 years experience in marketing & sales, manufacturing, supply and R&D. He joined Douwe Egberts Van Nelle in 1992, prior to its acquisition by Imperial in 1998, and subsequently held a number of senior sales and marketing roles including General Manager Germany and Divisional Director.
Chief Marketing Officer
John is Fontem’s Chief Marketing Officer. John has over 20 years FMCG experience including senior marketing roles at The Coca-Cola Company and Reebok International. An Australian native, he has extensive global experience and held marketing responsibility for blue chip brands across Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the USA. Most recently John has been CEO of Authentic Entertainment, a successful content creation and digital media business based in Sydney.
Chief Technical Officer
Bill is bring a wealth of R&D experience to the Founders Team as the CTO with a responsibility for Manufacturing, Science and R&D (MSRD). Bill has served as senior vice president R&D at ITG Brands and was previously at Lorillard for over 13 years.
Chief Operating Officer
As the Chief Operating Officer for Fontem Christian has the responsibility for Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, HR and IT. Christian has recently joined Fontem Ventures from Reemtsma, where he worked for over 15 years in many financial roles, most recently as Finance Director MSRD. These 5 people form the Founders Team at Fontem Ventures and are joined by the following 4 people to form the Executive Team.
Senior Vice President Sales Operations USA
As Senior Vice President Sales Operations for the USA Wayne is responsible for reaching our Sales ambitions in the USA. He has more than 20 years’ experience of sales and trade marketing with Imperial Tobacco and Cadbury Schweppes across Australia, Europe and USA, and most recently as interim Chief Marketing Officer at Fontem Ventures USA.
Senior Vice President Sales Operations Europe
Linda van Kaam
Linda has developed a strong background in sales and marketing with 18 years’ experience in the FMCG sector and has successfully developed game changing sales and marketing strategies and teams during her years at Coca-Cola, Rizla and Imperial. She has a preference for driving strategic and organisational change and has now moved from her last position at Imperial as Global Sales Force and Customer Management Director to Fontem to take on the role of Senior Vice President Sales Operations Europe where she will be responsible for the 3 markets in Europe that Fontem is currently operating.
Senior Vice President CORA & Communications
At Fontem Ventures, Marc is responsible for providing expert advice and strategic direction on all matters pertaining to Communications and Corporate Affairs. He previously worked at AkzoNobel where he was responsible for managing the reputation of the company with the media and other key stakeholders.
Jason is the original founder of blu and is on the Fontem Governance Board as a non-executive. His main role is to ensure we maintain a focus on the consumer and run our business with a founder’s mentality.
